Farever dungeon zones & progression path

Farever has two Early Access regions, each with multiple dungeons gating your character progression. Skyover Island (levels 1–15) is the starter region — a floating archipelago with three rival factions and four primary dungeons. Valley of the Eternal Autumn (levels 12+) is significantly harder and requires at least one upgraded weapon before entering.

Skyover Island progression (Lv 1–15)

Most players spend 8–12 hours in Skyover Island on their first run. The recommended sequence:

  • Sunken Aerie (Lv 4–7) — Start here. Teaches dodge timing and stagger. Collect all 5 Secret Orbs.
  • Old Quarry Tunnels (Lv 3–6) — Farm Iron Ore for early weapon upgrades if you need materials.
  • Stormhold Keep (Lv 8–11) — Faction dungeon. Drops the Skyover Greatsword. Pick up the town bounty for double rewards.
  • Wraithwind Spire (Lv 11–14) — Platforming dungeon. Glider and grapple hook mastery required.
  • Cradle of the Sky (Lv 14–15) — Region capstone. Two-phase boss. Enter only after Wraithwind, with an upgraded weapon.

Key dungeon mechanics to learn early

  • Orb Chests — Secret orbs found in every dungeon grant bonus rewards. Hunt them on your first run.
  • Boss combo windows — Practice the "1-2-Block-3-4" combo. Blocking mid-chain doesn't reset your finisher.
  • Arsenal swap — Configure your sub-weapon slot before entering — you can't swap skills once inside.
  • Party scaling — Solo gives ~80% of group rewards. Duos are the XP sweet spot for most dungeons.
